Cary Beth Harris began teaching at Dance Concept in 1992, but her DC career started at the age of 2, in one of Debbi Jo's preschool classes. She fell in love with the art form, going on to demonstrate multiple classes as she continued her own training in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and musical theatre. She performed as a DC Kid and with The Jazz Company, which later morphed into the DC Competition Team. One tap duet earned her the distinction of being one of Tarrant County's Top 10 Young Performers. In addition to competing with the studio's team, she later choreographed multiple award-winning competition pieces. Cary Beth holds a B.S. in Biology from Ole Miss, where she performed as a soloist with Mississippi:  The Dance Company, Showstoppers Musical Theatre Performing  Company, and in such musicals as A Chorus Line (as the Dance Captain), as Velma in West Side Story, and as the Arabian soloist in Mixed Nuts: A Modern Version of the Nutcracker. Her son and daughter are currently falling in love with the stage- and Cary Beth is thrilled that it's happening at the same studio she's always called home
