Dance Concept began in 1973 when Debbi Jo Thibeau (Debbi Jo Froman) started teaching dance to neighborhood kids in her parent’s garage. Her infectious passion for dance and her warm welcoming teaching style quickly attracted more students than her garage could hold, and the rest is history. Today, Dance Concept is home to hundreds of dancers of all ages and levels. Thousands of dancers have called Dance Concept their home since 1973, and the studio now welcomes second and even third year generation DC dancers. What began with humble neighborhood roots and a single teacher now stands as one of the longest running dance studios in the region with a full staff of qualified instructors and a prestigious award winning competition team.
