Sophia has been dancing at Dance Concept since the age of three. She was a member of the competition team from 2011–2020 and had the opportunity to train in Los Angeles at the Tremaine Dance Convention in 2018 and 2019. After graduating high school, Sophia began teaching at the studio and is now entering her fifth year of teaching and third year on the competition faculty.

She has also had the opportunity to assist Dallas Mavericks Dancers and Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in classes. Sophia teaches hip hop and many of the studio’s younger classes. She enjoys creating a space where her dancers feel comfortable, confident, and encouraged to be creative. Having grown up at the studio herself, teaching here has been a special full-circle experience.
